Helping Teachers provides classroom tools designed for teacher use. Students should not create accounts or use the platform directly without teacher supervision.
Access without an account
Teachers can use the classroom tools without creating an account. Login is intended for optional saved features, such as saving preferences, lists, schedules, or tool settings, so teachers can return to them later or use them across devices.
Student privacy guidance
Teachers should not enter full student names or sensitive student information into the tools. When a tool asks for a student list, use first names, nicknames, initials, or another classroom-friendly identifier. If two students have the same first name, add a small identifier such as a middle initial or last initial.
Information we collect now
The current tools are designed to work without student accounts or student registration. Information typed into classroom tools, such as names, groups, schedules, or cards, is intended to stay in the browser unless a future saved-account feature clearly says otherwise.
Some tools may use browser storage to remember basic preferences or saved items on your device. You can clear this data from your browser settings at any time.
Teacher accounts
If teacher login features are added, login will be optional for using the tools and required only for saving or syncing data. Helping Teachers may collect basic teacher account information such as email address, display name, login provider, language preference, and saved tool settings. Teacher accounts are intended for adults and educators, not students.
Analytics and service providers
We may use basic analytics and trusted service providers to understand general site usage, operate login features, improve reliability, and protect the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student information for targeted advertising.
Data deletion
Teachers may clear local browser data through their browser settings. When account features are available, we plan to provide a way for teachers to request account or saved-data deletion.

We may update this policy as the tools grow, especially when login or saved-account features are added. Updates will be posted on this page.
